Develop long-term marketing plans for product lines. Incorporate sales, advertising, research and promotional efforts required to meet current and projected market objectives.
Product management responsibility for products throughout all stages of their life cycle, from development to discontinuance, directed at maximizing the profitability of the product portfolio.
Responsible for the creation, execution and maintenance of a product strategy to guide new product development efforts for each product line assigned. Full responsibility for coordinating the new product development process across all functional areas including Industrial Design, Engineering, Manufacturing and Finance.
Develop a personal expertise on product markets including a complete intelligence file on competitors' pricing, field activity, customer service channels of market distribution and end-user preferences. Become familiar with product materials, manufacturing, packaging, transportation and promotions.
Prioritize the efforts of Supply Chain and Manufacturing through necessary forecasts and product information. Work with Supply Chain to monitor activities of critical vendors.
Provide leadership, coaching and support to the product team members within the Asia Pacific organization to achieve the above responsibilities together as a cohesive and productive team.
