STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Our client specializes in the execution of EPCC or EPCIC projects within the oil and gas industry, focusing on the fabrication and construction of topside, jacket, and other offshore lightweight structures.
Job Descriptions
Engineering :
Collaborate with Consultants and Clients to develop an efficient engineering design that integrates readily available materials from the current market and factors in ease of fabrication.
Examine the AFC drawings provided by the Consultant.
Review the IFC drawings before distributing them to the workshop.
Proficiently conduct all necessary structural lifting analysis for Topside and Jacket subassemblies.
Have the capability to initiate STQs for any deviations.
Procurement :
Perform Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) for all structural steel procurement.
Job Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and be registered with BEM or a recognized international institution as a member.
Possess a minimum of six (6) years of experience in design and construction, specifically within the offshore oil and gas upstream industry, such as topside/jacket projects.
Have experience in a similar role, having successfully completed at least one (1) project of similar scope, scale, and complexity.
Demonstrate the ability to interpret drawings and specifications and effectively communicate instructions to the workforce.
Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, with a minimum of six (6) years actively working as a Structural Engineer or in an equivalent role within a similar environment.
Display problem-solving skills, capable of devising action plans to address project issues.
Show proficiency in planning and organizing tasks in line with project requirements.
Ensure that work output meets quality standards and specifications.
Possess effective client relationship management skills to meet client needs.
Promote and implement HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures.
Collaborate effectively within a team, maintaining professional relationships with colleagues, peers, supervisors, subordinates, and others to achieve project objectives.
Communicate confidently and clearly, both orally and in written form, with well-structured and logical messages.
