A leading global engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, providing integrated services specializing in energy, environmental, and infrastructure projects, is actively seeking an experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Superintendent to be based in Penang, Malaysia.
This is a 14-month contract role, and the MEP Superintendent will focus on:
- Oversee the supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing tasks.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between construction interfaces, collaborating with each subcontractor for Piping and Equipment.
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, quality control, and overall construction activities on site.
- Develop Construction Plans and generate requisitions for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing tasks.
- Efficiently manage the execution of schedules, progress, quantity, quality, and resource allocation for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing work in collaboration with supervisors and subcontractors.
- Foster effective communication and coordination with other relevant interfaces within the site organization.
- Participate in meetings and provide daily reports for interface coordination, work permissions, and progress tracking.
Requirement
- At least 10 years of experience in Construction
- At least 3 years of experience in Construction Management
- Exposure to EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or ATF (Advanced Technology Facilities) Project experience
