Senior Engineer, QA/QC (Onshore / Petchem) - shall be responsible for ensuring that construction of an Onshore Gas Plant is compliant with Project Specifications and Contract requirements by managing QA/QC.
- Review technical proposals from bidders against tender evaluation criteria.
- Monitor and supervise QA/QC activities of the EPCIC contractor and subcontractors.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans, Quality Plans, Work Instructions, Method Statements, and various QA/QC procedures.
- Participate in critical quality control/inspection activities at the yard during construction.
- Monitor non-conformances and ensure timely corrective action is taken.
- Participate in various audits and follow up on audit findings.
- Coordinate with internal team members such as engineering, construction, SSHE, and Commissioning.

Ideal Experience
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for oil and gas construction projects, with at least 10 years of experience in constructing onshore gas plants, refineries, or petrochemical units.
- Additionally, the candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in a Lead QA/QC role, with prior experience handling projects with high levels of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), commonly known as a sour service environment.
- It is also a requirement that the candidate has previously worked with an Oil and Gas Operating Company or EPCC contractors involved in the construction of onshore gas plants, refineries, or petrochemical units.
- Looking for a candidate with strong experience in welding, fabrication techniques,NDT, blasting/painting of onshore gas plant/refinery/petrochemical units.
- They ideally must hold ASNT level II or equivalent certification in RT and UT, along with a certification as a welding inspector and lead auditor.
- The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in international codes and standards, be competent to interpret weld symbols, fabrication drawings, and isometric drawings.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizing skills are essential.
