A global financial institution specializing in providing credit enhancement solutions and mobilizing private sector investments for infrastructure projects in emerging markets is actively looking for someone with your experiences to join their team as a Credit Analyst supporting projects in Asia.

This is a newly created role and to be based in their Singapore office. And as part of the SEA team in the Singapore office, you will be reporting to the Chief Risk Officer in Singapore. 

The Credit Analyst's main duties include:

Credit assessments:
•    Conducting independent analysis of credit risks for pipeline and portfolio transactions, utilizing deal-related materials, independent research, and interactions with the Investment Team and clients.
•    Ensuring the quality control of all credit applications submitted to either the Credit or Portfolio Committees.
•    Collaborating with the Investment Team and other departments to smoothly navigate transactions from credit application to documentation.
•    Drafting credit notes for senior management, outlining the credit risks associated with specific transactions.
•    Analyzing historical financial statements, scrutinizing financial models provided by borrowers or deal advisors, and conducting model sensitivities.
•    Contributing ideas and opinions on transaction-specific matters such as structural enhancements and financial covenants. Additionally, reviewing and drafting sections of deal documentation.
•    Working closely and collaboratively with other departments

Risk frameworks and reporting:
•    Working with the Investment and Finance departments to enhance credit portfolio reporting.
•    Assisting the Investment Team in implementing scorecards to accurately assess the credit profile of each transaction.
•    Collaborating with the Finance Team and other Risk Team to review and maintain expected credit loss models, particularly the Probability of Default and Loss Given Default scorecards, being recognized as the company’s expert in this area.
