This role is with within a MNC Petrochemical company. The prospective candidate would oversee the APAC region, carrying out the following:

Key responsibilities:

  • Builds and keeps up a strong awareness of how services and chemicals support refining operations.

  • Looks for further oil and gas marketing opportunities.

  • Understands and uses sales concepts and tactics.

  • Creates a sales and marketing strategy for the designated area using knowledge of anticipated client events. oversees the execution of sales plans and makes sure that communications are coordinated within the company.

  • To retain short-term revenue while maintaining long-term relationships, preferentially targets critical clients.

  • Contacts and develops client base, cultivates those ties, and keeps them strong.

  • Participates in job walks with customers to define job scopes for projects.

  • Completes the deal by writing proposals.

  • Meets annual sales targets using measurable objectives.



  • Bachelor’s in business, Chemistry, Engineering or Environmental Management or equivalent.

  • Seven or more years of experience in sales/refining, including a fundamental understanding of the machinery and processes used in refineries.

  • Information on the scheduling, planning, and execution of refinery turnarounds.

  • Expertise in building relationships with clients and selling industrial services.

  • Proficient verbal and written communication abilities in Japanese & English.

  • Skilled at using and putting the following software to use: Suite by Microsoft

  • The ability to travel according to a flexible schedule, which may include going outside of town up to 50% of the time.
