Lead Electrical Engineer

To plan, execute, manage, control, and issue the Electrical engineering deliverables of the assigned project within the defined technical requirements, schedule, cost and quality so as to deliver the project successfully. Familiarity of Electrical engineering practices in FPSO/FSO or other Oil & Gas facilities (Offshore project experience preferred).
 
To independently define critical deliverables, plan, manage, control, approve and deliver engineering deliverables required for the assigned project effectively and efficiently according to specified technical requirements, timelines, and budget, manage project resources, and independently deal with and resolve all Electrical related technical issues of the project, and provide guidance to the assigned team.
 
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Electrical (Power Systems preferred)
  • Skilled in Microsoft office (Word / Excel / Power point) and Auto CAD
  • Minimum of 12 years working experience within the offshore / FPSO EPCIC project environment
Job Responsibilities
  • Understand the design basis, project requirements including HSSE, scope, cost, schedule, quality requirements, client and class requirements and project execution philosophy
  • Plan, lead and manage team resources by identifying the work/package assignment for each team member
  • Plan, lead and manage the deliverables as per project requirements
  • Direct and manage project work including issue of deliverables within schedule and quality
  • Provide expertise on solving technical problems, monitor and control the project work by closely communicating with the team
  • Issue As-Built and provide lessons learnt to the Department/Company
  • Identify improvement opportunities and innovative ideas
  • Closely coordinate with the team, inter-discipline communication, internal and external stake holders
