Job Description:
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through meticulous testing and collaboration with our development team. The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in identifying issues, providing feedback for improvement, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide input on design and usability to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to identify defects and ensure that our software meets specified requirements.
- Document and track defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Perform thorough testing of user interfaces, APIs, and other system components to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide clear and concise feedback to stakeholders on software quality, including status reports and test summaries.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends to drive continuous improvement in our testing practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Tester in a software development environment, preferably in the field of decentralized finance (Web3/DeFi).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer).
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript.
- Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
