JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Maintain and actively follow up infrastructure project pipelines while abreast with the latest status of the key infrastructure projects
  • Establish effective relationships with authorities, consulting engineers, EPC & major contractors, specifiers and all other relevant stakeholders involved in infrastructure projects
  • Liaise with applicators, distributors and customers to ensure successful completion of projects
  • Organize and provide technical presentations and conduct site trials/mockups
  • Attend customer complaints and liaise with internal QC / Technical department to provide effective technical services
  • Communicate with internal departments for delivery dates, pricing updates etc. Work closely with Technical team for specification evaluation & benchmarking.
  • Setting and meeting the Growth Target Objectives (GTO) for the infrastructure segments revenue and margin and any other KPI assigned
  • Keep himself/herself UpToDate with the new technologies /  product range and be well versed with the local and international standards, testing parameters/requirements of construction chemicals including concrete, waterproofing, fireproofing, repair and flooring products
  • Have a clear understanding of the market requirements, product positioning and competitions and be able to provide key market data to prepare products and market strategies

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar with 3 - 5 years of working experience in construction is preferred.
  • Good understanding and experience of construction chemicals including concrete admixtures, bridge deck coating, waterproofing, concrete repair and injection technologies
  • Experience with readymix concrete / precast and/or hands-on experience with waterproofing / repair applicators will be an advantage
  • Strong negotiation – Negotiating prices, orders, delivery method, shipping, and payment terms with customers.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and able to work independently
  • Planning skill - Ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet customer requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels.
  • Communication and Presentation – Develop and maintain good relationship with all stakeholders of infrastructure projects and have natural ability to provide solutions to customers’ requirements whether it is for new projects or solving any technical issues
  • Leadership – take the ownership of each projects and/or Key accounts to lead the infrastructure business segments
  • Able to work independently and able to prioritize the essential tasks
  • Create regular call report and update customer contact database
  • Good command in English and IT literate especially with MS Office software
