The client offers funding for infrastructure projects in emerging markets.

 

The Analysts will report into the Investment Team and will support Origination, Execution, and selective Client Relationship Management functions.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

Origination/Execution

- Assist in originating opportunities and preparing early-stage New Business Committee approvals.

- Support deal teams through due diligence following New Business Committee approval.

- Collaborate with transaction leads to structure and present transactions to the Credit Committee.

- Oversee due diligence tasks, adviser appointments, and document reviews.

- Coordinate internal teams for client on-boarding and related tasks.

- Handle ad-hoc tasks and research for team development and business initiatives.

 

Client Relationship Management

- Develop a strong understanding of the deal portfolio.

- Monitor and track transaction performance against various covenants.

- Assist Client Relationship Manager/Director in managing transaction relationships.

- Contribute to reports, requests, and analysis presented to the Portfolio Committee.

- Work closely with the Client Relationship Manager/Director on transactions.

- Ensure smooth transaction handover on financial close.

- Assist Finance in following up on unpaid amounts when required.

- Perform any other assigned duties as needed.

 

Core Experience

 

Essential Experience

- Relevant undergraduate/post-graduate education.

- Understanding of structured finance transactions, including corporate and project finance.

- Experience in credit risk assessment.

- Financial accounting and statement analysis skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- Client-focused service and stakeholder management experience.

 

Desirable Experience

- Familiarity with corporate and project finance in Emerging and Frontier Markets, particularly in infrastructure sectors.

- Knowledge of lending and fixed income products.

- Understanding of guarantees and similar products from various institutions.
