The Asset Management is the leading team for all the topics related to the company’s projects after the
end of the construction. The Asset Manager is to be responsible for the reporting and budgeted
performance of the assigned assets (solar PV rooftop or Utility-scale PV or Energy Storage System),
smooth transition from Project Management (EPC stage) to Asset Management team (starting prior to
Commercial Operation Date), keeping permitting / licenses up to date as per local regulation. The key
responsibilities include:
Technical Asset Management and Budget:
• Physically inspect the assets monthly and issue associated reporting (internal and external when
applicable);
• Ensure an optimum performance of the assets to meet / exceed production forecasts. Advise on
any potential improvements of the assets;
• Monitor the capital expenditures and operating expenses and ensure they remain within budget;
• Monitor daily asset performance through the Monitoring Software(s) and prepare the
monthly/quarterly reporting (internal and external when applicable);
• Conduct data analysis and troubleshoot potential or existing issues.
Contract and Compliance Management:
• Understand the Power Purchase and Leasing (if any) Agreements in full, and ensure their
enforcement when applicable (such as ensuring timely issuance and correctness of monthly
power invoices);
• Represent the company and be the main point of contact for all stakeholders linked to the asset.
In particular the Asset Manager will be the primary point of contact for the client, keeping
them updated on the status of the asset and addressing any concerns they may have;
• Understand the EPC and O&M Agreements in full, and ensure their enforcement when applicable;
• Understand the insurance policies in full, and process / follow-up claims when applicable;
• Ensure timely renewal and re negotiation of O&M Agreements and insurance policies;
• Ensure timely renewal of asset operating licenses and permits;
• Supervise the O&M partners and control their preventive / corrective maintenance tasks.
Health and Safety:
• Ensure safety is the priority at all work activities and strictly follow all HSSE requirement;
• Supervise and follow up to correct unsafe conditions and actions for safety in the work of
employees as reported or as recommended by HSSE officer and/or HSSE committee.
General:
• Attend periodic follow-up meetings, internal and with external parties;
• Ensure compliant filing through cloud-based filing platform Box.com;
• Assist the M&A team in performing technical due diligence in view of acquisition (projects in Asia);
Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications for the job are the following:
• Good level of English in speaking and writing.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related field (electrical, mechanical).
• At least 3 years’ experience in renewable energy, especially solar energy.
• Strong technical background and on-site experience managing solar plants.
• Understanding of renewable energy technologies and of project life cycle management, including
construction, commissioning, operation, and decommissioning.
• Proficiency in analyzing asset performance data, identifying trends, and using models to optimize
energy production and predict maintenance needs.
• Ability to identify and resolve operational issues, analyze data to diagnose problems, and develop
effective solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize effectively, and ensure accuracy in
reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, as well as
clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to do regular trips in Thailand and South-East Asia as well as working at heights. A driver’s
license and a car are required.
