Coiled Tubing Operator 

Position Summary 

The Coiled Tubing Operator is responsible for executing coiled tubing operations at the well site under the direction of the Service Coordinator. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery by preparing, operating, and maintaining coiled tubing equipment while adhering to the Management System, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards, and service quality requirements. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Operate coiled tubing units and related equipment during rig-up, rig-down, and job execution. 

  • Perform pre-job equipment checks, maintenance, and readiness verification to ensure operational reliability. 

  • Assist in mobilization and demobilization of equipment, materials, and personnel to/from the worksite. 

  • Follow job packs and instructions as per VDR (Verified Design Review) and service quality requirements. 

  • Collect and report operational data accurately for job documentation and post-job analysis. 

  • Support troubleshooting of equipment and job-related issues under supervision. 

  • Maintain compliance with HSE standards, promoting safety awareness and environmental responsibility. 

  • Ensure field paperwork is completed correctly and submitted promptly. 

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying operational gaps and suggesting solutions. 

  • Work closely with service operators, coordinators, and third-party contractors to ensure seamless service delivery. 

 

Requirements 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or engineering background preferred. 

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Coiled Tubing Services, including hands-on experience with CT tools and applications. 

  • Offshore Medical Certificate and Offshore Survival & Emergency Training Certificate (mandatory). 

  • Strong knowledge of HSE standards, and CT operational guidelines. 

  • Ability to work in offshore environments and adapt to challenging conditions.
