Key responsibilities will include:
• Lead and assist in the development of wind and solar projects across Indonesia, including all tasks required to bring projects to construction ready, in particular land acquisition, permitting, studies, etc;
• Create and manage project development plans, including projects scope, tasks, resources, schedules, budgets;
• Work in close partnership with local communities, Regencies, Provinces and Central Government agencies to support project development;
• Prepare RFPs and scopes of work required for the engagement of consultants and sub-contractors for a variety of technical, engineering and environmental studies, such as design, site assessments, environmental impact studies, surveying. Supervise delivery of studies;
• Prepare the applications for a variety of permits and authorisations, required for the development of projects;
• Provide comprehensive verbal and written project status reports to project teams, management, and partners.
Skills and experience:
• Minimum 10 years’ experience working in a similar position in the energy sector;
• Experience in developing wind and solar PV farms, will be highly regarded;
• Sound understanding of permitting requirements and land considerations in Indonesia;
• Excellent network among government institutions and renewable energy stakeholders in Indonesia;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa;
