· Develop a strategic plan for the targeted market segments for the region. This
needs to be communicated well to all associates involved and ensure good implementation by generating buy-in throughout the organization.
· Translate the overall strategy for the region into an annual business plan, setting measurable milestones to track progress and then working with the whole Asia team towards achieving them.
· Manage some key customer relationships directly, while at the same time driving activity within the wider team to achieve the desired results.
· Demonstrate sound judgment and make good business decisions based on facts, experience, context and available data. Seek advice or counsel from peers, management or their associates to improve the quality of information available and on making sound decisions.
· Work with a number of non-office segment specialists in each market and help develop a
structure that supports the overall strategy. This will require close collaboration with each of the
business heads.
· Regularly meet with sales associates in order to improve their performance in these segments. He/she will identify gaps in their abilities and organize training as well as coach for improvement.
· Work with and laterally influence colleagues from other disciplines in order to achieve shared goals.
· Responsible for managing and appointing the right channel partners for the region for each of the targeted market segments.
· Bottom line responsibility for the financial results for the non-office segments in the region.
