Solar Engineer (O&M + Design)
Job description:
The primary responsibilities of this role is to ensure the efficient operation & maintenance of our installed solar PV systems to maximise their performance and meet contractural performance guarantees. This role will also assist our residential team in design of solar PV systems and drafting of engineering drawings.
- Daily monitoring of system performance
- Troubleshooting & repairs by implementing corrective measures or liaising with suppliers
- Scheduling of maintenance with operations team
- Documentation & reporting as per contractual obligations
- Preventive maintenance planning
- Design of solar PV systems and drafting work for our residential projects
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Proven experience in operations and maintenance of solar energy systems.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with monitoring software and tools for performance analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
