Position Overview:


As a member of the dynamic team, your role will involve:


- Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share for our software solutions in Japan.

- Identifying and engaging potential clients, including engineering firms, research institutes, and other relevant organizations, to introduce our solutions and create new business opportunities.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize upselling opportunities.

- Conducting product presentations and demonstrations to effectively showcase the features and benefits of our software to potential customers.

- Collaborating closely with the technical support and product development team to gain insights into customer needs and offer tailored software solutions.

- Managing maintenance contracts as a core aspect of our business.

- Keeping abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

- Preparing and submitting sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation as required by management.

- Representing our headquarters at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and establish professional connections.




We are seeking candidates who possess:


- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.

- Over 5 years of experience in software sales, relevant technical sales, or engineering roles.

- Intermediate-level proficiency in English for both spoken and written communication.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.

- Exceptional self-management ability to effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities.

- A technical background in structural analysis or hydrodynamic analysis, regardless of industry (e.g., marine, offshore, renewable energy, etc.), which can be advantageous.

- Previous experience in software sales or relevant technical sales roles, which is highly advantageous.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.

- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse and multicultural environment.

- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the engineering software market.

- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients and attend relevant events.

- For non-Japanese foreigners, a potential requirement of a verbal test for Business Japanese proficiency.
