Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects as Lead Engineer and be in charge of timely and accurate project execution while adhering to the Department's quality management system and any contractual obligations that may be unique to a given project.

  • Performing the fundamental and detailed design for static machinery such heat exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and packaging machinery.

  • In charge of budget, quality, scheduling, and cost control.

  • In charge of deliverable documentation for mechanical packages, including engineering specifications, mechanical datasheets, requisitions, technical assessments, engineering drawings, and vendor paperwork.

  • Ensures efficient communication between teams from the client, project management, and other engineering disciplines.

  • Participates in departmental meetings and project status meetings, and is accountable for accurate reporting of the status, progress, delays, change notices, change management, and close-out of projects, among other things.

 

Job Requirements:-

  • Ideally will possess Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent / Registered with BEM

  • At least 7–10 years of experience working in the oil and gas sector.

  • A solid understanding of static machinery, including columns, heat exchangers, reactors, and vessels, is required. Shell and tube heat exchanger thermal rating and furnace/fired equipment are advantageous.

  • Had extensive experience with all facets of static equipment engineering in an engineering contracting environment. It's crucial to comprehend the project's technical needs and give others instructions on how to implement them.

  • The capacity to collaborate with people at all levels and with vendors, as well as having good interpersonal, communication/presentation, and report-writing abilities

  • Capable of defining the work scope and the resources needed.

  • Capable of using software for designing pressure vessels, such as PV Elite, Codecal, etc.

  • Expertise in the design of static equipment
