Job Title: Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer
Location: Buona Vista, Singapore
 
Purpose:
 
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Marine Package Engineer to independently manage requisitions for marine mechanical component packages in various projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to technical requirements.

  • Position: Senior Engineer, Rotating Equipment (Compressor)
  • Location: Singapore
  • Employment Type: 24 months direct hire contract (possible for extension)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Understands the specifications and requirements in the area of mechanical rotating equipment (such as Centrifugal Pumps, Positive Displacement pumps, Air and utility compressor, steam/gas turbines etc) of the assigned package.
  • Responsible with minimum guidance for Mechanical Design and selection of Rotating equipment in compliance with applicable international codes ASME, API etc.
  • Independently develops technical specifications/standards and Requisitions for rotating equipment such as Centrifugal Pumps, Positive Displacement pumps, Air and utility compressor, steam/gas turbines, etc
  • Independently evaluates the technical aspects of bids received from suppliers and concludes assessment to the bide. Generally, less complex packages and middle risk equipment are assigned
  • Assists in placing and executing the orders. After orders, independently reviews Supplier documents (such as data sheets, drawings) for their completeness, accuracy and compliance. Being the focal point, liaises and coordinates with various stakesholders.
  • Provides technical/engineering support/visit and advice for quality work at supplier shop and Construction/Commissioning work at site
  • Independently resolves technical issues using expert knowledge and technical know-how that may arise during the execution of package engineering, fabrication and post delivery.
  • To ensure business activities and decisions conform to the laws and regulations and demonstrates high standard of ethical behaviour

Requirement

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Mechanical engineering in oil and gas sector, preferable experience in FPSO, offshore application
  • Knowledge of API617 is a must
  • Require project execution experience (Vendor Design verification)
  • Possess relevant experience working on EPC projects
  • Shall be conversant with design standards and International Industry Codes such as ASME, API, NACE, etc.
