Solution & Field Application Engineer (Based in Singapore)

A global provider of wireless lighting control software operating on an open ecosystem platform widely adopted across the lighting industry. With the technology now mature and well established in the market, the organization is entering its next growth phase and is expanding adoption through stronger solution and application support.

This role focuses on providing field-level technical support, system application guidance, and partner enablement to drive broader market adoption.

Job Description 

  • Validate and test approved wireless control–ready products for assigned markets and solution applications.

  • Develop application notes and provide technical application support to partners.

  • Deliver online and on-site technical training, in English and Mandarin where possible.

  • Act as the primary technical contact for solution-based project applications.

  • Provide on-site and remote support for system setup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of wireless control networks.

  • Conduct site evaluations, system checks, and post-installation reviews to ensure system stability and performance.

  • Identify recurring field issues and document them for escalation to global support or R&D teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales and solution teams to develop, test, and validate application solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure consistent system delivery and performance.

  • Provide structured feedback from field experience to support continuous product and feature improvement.

  • Represent the organization at technical events, exhibitions, and customer demonstrations when required.

Education & Experience
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Technology, or a related discipline.

  • 3–5 years of experience in lighting controls, field applications, or system commissioning.

  • Experience delivering technical training or customer workshops is a strong advantage.
