Specification Manager

• Pursue project specifications, quotes or inquiries from various customers with the aim to close orders for  products on that particular project or line of inquiry

• Obtain a sound working knowledge of all products.

• Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group, i.e., clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations.

• Reviews various lead sources for products, identify possible drain opportunities, switch if competitor is written into specification.

• Identify the lead (who, what, where) and contact representation agency to discuss.

• Target new business opportunities with the inside sales team to build a substantial project pipeline.

• Assist Specifiers (Architects/Engineers) & Corporate Decision Makers to specify/ID products as a standard.
