EICT LEAD DESIGNER

Our client is an operator and EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) general contractor of floating production systems including Floating Production Storage & FPSO units, FSO units, FLNGs, Tension Leg Platforms (TLPs), Semi-Submersibles, and Mooring Systems.

Job Requirements (Minimum must-haves)

  • Singaporean / Singapore PR ONLY

  • Minimum 10 years of experience

  • Diploma / Technical Institute in Electrical/ Electronics/Inst/Telecom/Mechanical

  • Familiarity of EICT Design practices in FPSO/FSO or other Oil & Gas facilities (Offshore project experience preferred)

  • Skilled in : Microsoft Office, AVEVA Electrical, AVEVA Instrumentation, AutoCAD, E3D and Navisworks.

Job Descriptions

  • To lead and supervise a team of EICT Designers to provide designs and drawings related to discipline of the assigned projects including supervising Engineering Contractors within contractual requirements to deliver detailed modeling, designs, and drawings meeting schedule and project requirements.

  • Engineering Design - Leads and supervise a team of Designers to provide designs and drawings related to discipline of the assigned projects.

  • Construction Query - To support lead in resolving EICT design queries from various yards within schedule and timely manner.

  • Meetings/ Co-ordination -To attend the meetings with Engineering Contractors to do detailed modelling, designs and drawings based on the basic designs/drawings.

  • Training/Mentoring - Train, guide and share the knowledge to EICT designers.

  • QA/QC - Check all the drawings quality before sending to site and confirm all of the drawings are extracted from MODEL or Aveva Instrumentation or Electrical.

  • Inter Discipline Co-ordination - Quite frequently, functions concurrently as the Design Coordinator for a project or relevant discipline.

  • 3D Model Review - Attend all the Model Review and provide the feedback to Engineering Sub Contractor to implement.

  • Improvement & Lesson Learn - Review and suggest improvements and implement all the approved previous project lesson learn in the design.
