The client is a regional renewable energy company that develops and operates clean energy projects, such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power plants. They are currently setting up a new office in Jakarta and are actively looking for someone with your experience to join their growing team.
In the role of Financial Controller Manager (newly created role), you will have the following responsibilities:
Job Description:
Manages external financial audits and supervises local accounting operations to ensure efficient and precise preparation of statutory financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Ensures adherence to local regulatory and tax obligations by preparing necessary documentation and filing tax reports.
Implements local policies and procedures to ensure good governance.
Enhances efficiency by optimizing processes and resources, including managing local working capital.
Assesses financial data from actuals, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring expenses remain within the allocated budget.
Technical Knowledge, Special Trainings and Work Experience:
Candidate will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Fluent in English and Bahasa
Over 10 years of relevant management experience in Finance and Accounting spanning controllership, audit, taxation, internal controls, and regulatory compliance functions
Exhibits good business acumen and governance mindset.
Renewable power industry background is a plus
Education Requirement:
Possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy with Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Exam); Finance or Business-related master’s degree is a plus)
