Licensing Manager - Absorbent / Catalyst

The chosen applicant will become a member of a strong sales team, licensing technology products and related services to partners and customers globally. In close coordination with our central office in Europe and regional offices, our sales efforts are carried out on a highly specialized and international level. We collaborate with a robust network of subject matter experts throughout the organisation in a relaxed yet ambitious work atmosphere.

The markets and industries we serve are undergoing rapid change, thus it is essential that we constantly push ourselves and adjust to new circumstances more quickly than the market and our rivals.

The following are your primary duties as a licensing manager:

  • Grow technology-related business in the region in line with securing market share;

  • Lead the deployment of new technologies to markets, establishing a commercial basis (working with the relevant Product Line Director for first deployments and establishing market share);

  • Support/share with other Licensing Managers in order to

    expand the capabilities and knowledge in the licensing industry.

  • Willingness to travel regionally

Your abilities

  • You should be able to check the following and have technical understanding of applicable

    technologies, hardware, services, and product offerings.

  • Strong commercial knowledge of

    proposals and contracts.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of technology licensing contract principles.

  • Understanding of legal frameworks and guidelines.

  • Ability to sell and monetize digital solutions. Understanding of pertinent market drivers (feedstock and product prices).

  • Client knowledge and attention

  • Strong industry networks and collaboration

  • Self-starter with high levels of self-motivation

Qualifications

  • We are seeking candidates with a background in chemical engineering or a related field.

  • Proven

    experience in a related capacity and have interest in or experience in technical sales, process design, or mechanical design.

  • English proficiency is required.
