A regional management consultancy focusing on the energy, infrastructure and technology are actively looking for someone with your immediate experiences to join their team as a Senior Manager. This role will be based in Bangkok, Thailand, and requires corporate finance experience in areas such as M&A, Deals, fund raising, and corporate strategy.
The Senior Manger roles will be focusing on;
• Lead the team proactively, reporting directly to the Managing Directors.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director to formulate a comprehensive business plan for the team, and drive business development, assignment scoping, management, and client relationship initiatives.
• Develop and execute projects across various sectors, including power, energy, infrastructure, transport, and technology. Provide cross-functional services spanning corporate finance, project management, and sustainability advisory.
• Manage and oversee all phases of engagements, from pre-proposal research and proposal development to assignment delivery.
• Independently manage engagements and consulting teams, including analysts, associates, and direct reports to the Managing Director/Associate Director.
• Conduct thorough market research, gather and analyze data, formulate and test hypotheses, present recommendations to clients, and collaborate with client team members to implement suggestions.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality work to clients and promptly respond to client requests.
• Preferably a Thai national with fluency in Thai (written, spoken, and reading), positioned at the firm’s Bangkok office.
• Minimum of 6-7 years' experience within strategy consulting or financial advisory firms.
• Expertise in the infrastructure, energy, resources, basic industries, and/or technology sectors.
• Holds a Master's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Management, Finance, and/or Economics.
• Must possess excellent communication skills in both English and Thai. Proficiency in other languages (Mandarin, Arabic, Bahasa) is advantageous.
• Capable of confident public speaking and presenting to senior management of clients.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, interpersonal, and people management abilities.
• Exhibits commercial acumen with a proven history of successful new business development.
• Displays exceptional research, analytical, and quantitative problem-solving capabilities.
• Eager to learn and expand skills beyond comfort zones to promote professional growth.
