Job Title: Financial Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join Finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, Malaysia and Japan, you will play a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, cash and banking operations, and supporting commercial decision-making across the Malaysia and Japan businesses.

We are seeking a candidate with strong financial analysis skills who can interpret data trends and deliver actionable insights to support and influence strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in month/quarter/year-end closing activities, including margin review, forecasting, and reporting packages.

  • Oversee cash flow and banking operations, including forecasting, reconciliation, FX compliance, and exposure mitigation.

  • Support performance planning and budgeting processes.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting for Malaysia and Japan.

  • Manage Letters of Credit and liaise with banks, internal teams, and customers.

  • Maintain and update vendor master data in SAP.

  • Drive accounts receivable health, ensuring balance sheet integrity and minimal aged debt.

  • Support ad hoc analysis, unusual transaction tracking, and various finance initiatives.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • ACCA qualified or equivalent bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.

  • 2–5 years of experience in cash management, banking, and accounts receivable.

  • Solid understanding of IFRS, strong analytical capabilities, and working knowledge of Letters of Credit.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP is essential.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure across different time zones.
