We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the execution of complex Biofuel projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with company standards and client expectations.

This role requires a deep understanding of project management principles, exceptional organizational abilities, effective communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Project.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Monitoring:

  • Monitor project progress, analyze critical paths, and identify potential risks or delays. Proactively address issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Internal Department Deliverables:

  • Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure timely delivery of project-related tasks and deliverables. Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to maintain alignment with project goals.

Contract Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of contract-related reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual obligations. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to verify compliance and facilitate smooth project invoicing.

Meeting Coordination:

  • Schedule, organize, and facilitate project meetings, both internal and external. Prepare meeting agendas, distribute materials, record minutes of meetings, and follow up on action items.

Stakeholder Interface Management:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams. Manage communication channels, address inquiries, and maintain positive relationships to foster project success.

Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans and ensure that all team members are aware of potential challenges and their corresponding solutions.

Resource Allocation:

  • Collaborate with resource managers to ensure the availability and allocation of required resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project demands.

Project Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, progress reports, and change orders. Ensure documents are properly organized and accessible to relevant team members.

Knowledge of Microsoft Project:

  • Utilize Microsoft Project software to create, update, and manage project schedules, track dependencies, allocate resources, and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies. Contribute to the development of best practices and lessons learned to enhance future project execution.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a project management environment, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Projects or similar project management software.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
