Job Description:
The Business Development and Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth of company  by identifying and securing new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and developing our portfolio of solar assets. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong background in the solar industry and a passion for renewable energy.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
* Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the solar industry, including potential projects, markets, and strategic partnerships.
* Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's presence in the solar market, focusing on both EPC services and the development of solar assets.
* Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, investors, utilities, and government agencies.
* Prepare and present business proposals, feasibility studies, and financial models for potential projects and partnerships.
 
Sales:
* Identify and pursue new sales leads, develop client relationships, and close deals to secure new projects.
* Collaborate with the technical team to ensure that customer requirements are met and to provide accurate and timely project estimates and proposals.
* Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and provide regular reports to senior management.
 
Asset Development:
* Oversee the development of the company’s own solar assets, from project inception through to completion.
* Develop financial models and business plans for new asset development projects.
 
 
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
* Proven experience in business development and sales within the solar industry, preferably with an EPC company.
* Strong understanding of the solar energy market, including regulatory and policy frameworks, financial modeling, and project financing.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies and close deals.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
