SANDFILL MASTER

Department: Projects Department

Department Building Block: Dredging, Reclamation & Soil

Functionally reports to : Construction Manager/ PM

Operationally reports to : Project Superintendent / Site Superintendent

Supervises : Sandfill Supervisor / Labour's

 

Description of key result areas of department

 

  • To carry out tasks associated with dredging, reclamation, and civil marine projects, meeting both the set timeframe and budget. Maintain a strong focus on upholding quality, safety, and environmental standards.

 

Job Descriptions

 

  • Supervise the Sand Fill & Dredge crew and related equipment, implementing necessary procedures to maintain a precise working environment.

  • Ensure the most efficient use of available resources.

  • Take charge of planning and project management for significant reclamation and sand field shore discharge operations, including planning and setup.

  • Generate production reports for each operation.

  • Maintain detailed records of operational timekeeping for all sand field and related activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and foster a safe working environment.

  • Enforce HSE/QA/QC requirements for technicians and laborers within the department.

  • Coordinate with the Dredge team.

  • Initiate inspections of the sand field site area in accordance with QC standards.

  • Review and prepare for the execution of sand field activities in line with design and drawings.

  • Be prepared to handle tasks beyond the scope of this role as required by operational demands.

 

Education & Certification

 

  • Suitable professional qualification; experience in sand field and or Marine & Dredging

  • Higher Diploma or equivalent professional qualification

  • Flexibility: being longer periods of time on duty.

  • Passing physical fitness from AD Health Service Co. SEHA is mandatory. Physical examinations and investigation test (ADMA) will be required before working at offshore Oil and Gas projects.
